Lee Martin
Series Creator, Executive Producer
As creator of Michigan’s first homegrown dramatic TV series, Lee has drawn on years of experience in theater and film to create a production template admired and duplicated by film makers throughout the area. Renowned as one of the best screenwriters in the midwest, he has written, produced and directed the broadcast equivalent of eight dramatic feature films in two years.  Dubbed a “Rod Serling doeppelganger” and “Detroit’s version of Stephen King” by the local media, he in fact has become the Ed Sullivan of Michigan horror, showcasing his new technical and thespian talent discoveries each month.

Daniel D. Smith
Co-producer/Editor
A lifelong horror film fan, Dan joined the “Midnight Hour” family shortly after graduating with honors from a film school in Allen Park. Dan possesses a rare combination of artistic creativity with business-like efficiency, making him a valued member of the team. His grasp of storytelling and flare for drama are in perfect synch with the show’s scripts and market. Dan’s company, Poison Apple Entertainment, began producing short horror films in 2010.

Daniel Galeski, Jr.
Audio Remastering Engineer
Dan brings over a decade of experience and technical expertise to his work with the “Midnight Hour” TV show. As remastering engineer, he ensures broadcast-quality audio and sound effects on the show. His initial work may be seen on the show’s first HD episode, “Daddy’s Little Girl.” His technical saavy and collaborative style have made him an integral part of the show’s slick new production process.

Carol McClure
Production Manager
Michigan film luminary Carol McClure was already a fan of “Midnight Hour” as a TV viewer when she made her first guest appearance on the show in December of 2009. In July of 2010 the show welcomed her as full time production manager, where her excellent organizational skills and keen perception became invaluable assets. One of the area’s most reliable motion picture and television industry fixtures, Carol can also be seen in numerous Michigan productions.

Kevin O’Connor
Director of Photography
Kevin O’Connor began his entertainment career as a set designer in theater and since graduating from a film school in Allen Park, has become a busy member of the metro Detroit filmaking scene. He joined the MH team in March of 2010 on the set of “Daddy’s Little Girl,” and brought creativity, innovation, technical skill, flexibility and a great attitude to the fore.

Eric Dodson
Assistant Director/Director of Photography
A graduate from a local film training program, Eric joined the show’s production team towards the end of its second season. As one of the show’s finest AD’s, Eric prepares comprehensive documentation prior to each lens date, while closely monitoring the progress of the DPs, audio recordist, gaffers and talent.

Richard LeValley
Gaffer
Richard joined the Midnight Hour family in December, 2009 as gaffer on “Mesmerized.” His skill, team spirit and energy quickly made him an invaluable resource. A graduate of Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, Richard is a skilled cinematographer as well as gaffer. A devout horror film aficionado, he is a walking encyclopedia of trivia and metro Detroit’s great TV heritage.

James Meyers
Gaffer
Jim joined “Midnight Hour” in March, 2010. As Key Grip and Gaffer, Jim combines creativity, technical skill, efficiency and flexibility, bringing about great outcomes, with ease. Wearing multiple hats on short notice and collaborating effectively with his team-mates, Jim is a valuable and welcome member of the show’s ever-growing family.

Jason Hiltz
FX Makeup
After many years of studying makeup appliance and prosthetic technique and chemistry, Jason joined the “Midnight Hour” series in December, 2008 for “Portrait of Jadine.” His elaborate and spellbinding prosthetic work sent audience interest in the show to new heights. He looks forward to a long collaboration with the show.

Jane E. Randall

One of Michigan’s prolific AD’s, Jane keeps busy supporting feature film productions with her keen organizational and time management skills. Joining “Midnight Hour” on the set of its third-season premiere episode, “Prisoner of Love,” she quickly bonded with the production team as a highly motivated professional with an easy-going, “can-do” attitude.

Brian Schoof
Menu Designer and Disc Mastering Manager
Brian joined the show in April of 2010 and dazzled series producers with his high-end graphic design, navigation and menu creation skills. His rapid turnaround and attention to detail distinguish him as one of the best DVD mastering professionals in Michigan, while his good-natured affibility have made him a welcome member of the team.

Gerald R. Richart
Stills Photographer
Since December, 2009, veteran photographer Gerald Richart, of Distinctive Image Photography, has combined his mastery of film and digital imagery with the latest post-production techniques to create high-end stills for the show. His 40 years of experience as a professional photographer of people, places and things has endowed him with a keen eye for composition and storytelling through stills. His good natured affability and reliability make him a welcome member of the team.

Paul Kouba
Director of Photography
Paul made his debut on the show as alternate director of photography in the third-season episode, “Do Not Pass.” He immediately impressed the production unit with his skill set, motivation, flexibility and great attitude. A graduate from the Lifton Institute for Media Skills, he is one of Detroit’s more promising film makers.

Donna Terwilliger
Script and Continuity Supervisor
After her graduation from a film school in Allen Park, Donna began pursuing her passion as a set designer and builder. Between gigs she provides invaluable support to the “Midnight Hour” production team as script and continuity supervisor, where her attention to detail, reliability and keen observation skills are invaluable.

Jamie Lynn Turner
Assistant Director/Script & Continuity Manager
Jamie made her “Midnight Hour” debut on the set of “Toby’s Room,” where she excelled monitoring visual and verbal continuity issues and managing multiple time code books for twin cameras throughout the shoot. A team player with a great attitude, she became an instant veteran and invaluable asset to the show.

Scott is a metro Detroit-based website designer with extensive experience writing code, programming, and utilizing DreamWeaver, Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop and more. First visiting the internet in 1987, before domain names existed, Scott began developing websites for hire in 1999 and today incorporates phpbb, joomla, wordpress, oscommerce, zen cart, drupal, invision, vbulletin, and many others in his work.

Sebastian Boada
Director of Photography
One if Michigan’s finest cinematographers, “SeBo” is a familiar face on many independent and visiting productions. His keen eye for frame composition and storytelling augment his footage and are great assets to the show. A graduate of Michigan’s prestigious Motion Picture Institute, Sebastian’s artistic creativity is matched by his technical skill and motivation.

Sandy joined the MH production team on the set of “Toby’s Room,” and quickly became indispensable as a capable and reliable creator of special props and on-set effects. Her cheerful esprit de corps and enthusiasm are contagious.

Severin Faustus and PBK
Theme Music and Effects
The “Midnight Hour” owes its memorable theme music to noted composer and musician Severin Faustus, of Darkhaus Sound and Film, Inc., whose macabre scores can be heard in many cable TV shows and promos in Bay City and greater Detroit. Additional scoring is provided by world-renown PBK, whose use of instruments and rhythm sometimes recall the works of the great Bella Bartok (“The Shining”).
